Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair
The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair (GNCCF) stands as a nationally celebrated event, holding the esteemed title of the premier craft fair in the North. Now in its 17th year, the GNCCF provides an exclusive opportunity for patrons to directly acquire exquisite pieces from over 150 of the UK's foremost designer-makers and craft artists. Rigorously selected by an independent panel of craft experts, each exhibitor represents the pinnacle of covetable design and craftsmanship.
Their fairs showcase a diverse array of handmade accessories for both you and your home, encompassing jewelry, textile accessories, print, furniture, lighting, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, and more. Beyond the pleasure of discovering unique pieces, the GNCCF offers an interactive experience where you can engage with the makers themselves. Attendees have the chance to witness live demonstrations, partake in hands-on crafting activities, and engage in conversations with the creative minds behind the showcased works.
Moreover, for those seeking something truly special or personalized, many of our exhibiting makers are available for commissions, ensuring that your acquisition is a bespoke reflection of your individual taste and preferences. The GNCCF is not merely an event; it is a celebration of the mastery and artistry embedded in contemporary craft, inviting you to immerse yourself in a world where creativity knows no bounds.

Creative Consience
This organisation is London-based but operates globally. They are a not-for-profit and guide creative professionals, students, and graduates to use their creative talents for positive social and environmental impact. The organization encourages individuals in the creative industry to channel their skills and creativity toward addressing social and environmental issues.
My interest in this organisation comes from my social drive to combat the housing crisis. I have always been exposed to homelessness through my parent's volunteering with the charity crisis. They have also always looked past the stereotypes of homeless people being antisocial, and taught us that anyone could end up in their situation but you don't know someone's story until you ask.
